Fohs Hall
Many of our events are held at Historic Fohs Hall.

Fohs Hall was built by Julius Fohs, an internationally known geologist, and given as a gift of love to Marion and the Board of Education during formal dedication ceremonies on Oct. 23, 1926. At the time of construction, the cost amounted to $73,081. The building was to be used as a community center and in conjunction with Marion High School.
The building was selected as a Kentucky Landmark in June of 1981, and accepted on the National Register of Historic Places in May of 1982.
