In this interactive session, Hailee will teach you the art of sourdough breadmaking step by step - from mixing and kneading to shaping and scoring.

Please note: You'll take your dough home for the final rise and baking, so be sure you can get it into your oven shortly after the workshop ends.

Kids Drama Camp

CAMP FEE: $75 per child
Kids Drama Camp is an exciting week of theatre fun for rising 2nd through 6th graders! Campers will explore acting, voice projection, and stage movement while building confidence and teamwork. Throughout the week, they’ll rehearse for a final performance, giving them the chance to shine on stage. Whether they’re new to theatre or experienced performers, this camp offers a creative, supportive space to learn and grow. Join us for a week of fun, friendships, and the magic of live performance! The week culminates in a public performance on June 27 at 4 p.m. Performance admission is free.

Steel Magnolias Auditions
JUNE 2 | FOHS HALL | 6PM - 8PM
Producer: Community Arts Foundation Director: Teresa Foster
Actress Eligibility: Female, 16+ years old
Prepare: Please prepare one of the monologues in the audition packet; scenes will be read from the script at the audition. Click on the link below for the audition packet.
Notes: We are looking for strong, passionate actors. Please do not type yourself out and do not role type against the movie. This is not the movie! It is a play and there are differences. Keep in mind that all the characters are Southern, so feel free to attempt a Southern accent!
Committment: Please be sure you can commit to both performances and the three weeks prior. We want you at every rehearsal, but understand there are conflicts. September is going to be highly important for all of the cast to be in attendance.
Cost: There is no cost to participate, however, we do ask that you cover any costume costs. We will be able to provide hair and make up for you for performances.
Children/Guests: Please do not bring guests or children to rehearsals.

Spring Recital - Crider Performing Arts Studio

The Crider Performing Arts Studios' Spring Recital showcases the hard work and dedication of its talented students. Featuring performances in piano, voice, guitar, drums, and drama, this special event highlights student growth and passion for the arts. From beautiful melodies and heartfelt vocal performances to engaging theatrical monologues and skillful guitar playing, the recital offers a diverse and entertaining program for all ages. Join us as we celebrate students’ achievements and the power of the performing arts. Don’t miss this opportunity to support these young artists as they take the stage and share their talents! An Evening with The Todd Hill Orchestra
Swing into an unforgettable night of big band classics with the Todd Hill Orchestra, featuring some of Kentucky’s finest musicians. Led by Murray State University’s Director of Jazz Studies, Todd Hill, this concert is a can’t-miss event! This concert will bring all your favorite tunes from the 1920s to today, to Marion’s largest stage, in Big Band Style! Tickets available at Farmers Bank of Marion or Salem.
This event is held in conjunction with The Shine Gala to benefit the Amanda Edmonds Locke Foundation.
