CAMP INFO:
July 13-17, 2026, 1 PM - 4 PM daily, Fohs Hall, 201 N. Walker St., Marion, KY 42064. Sessions are taught by Corey and Michelle Crider, with a support staff of volunteers. Focus will be given to the following fundamentals: verbal and non-verbal communication, improvisation, memorization, listening, defining stage space, blocking, props, etc. The camp will culminate on July 17 with a public performance at 5 PM.
ELIGIBILITY:
Campers must have just completed 2nd grade through 5th grade to participate. Campers do not have to be from Crittenden County.
COMMITTMENT:
Please be sure you can commit to all five days of the camp and the performance. Drama Camp is a team activity and campers depend on one another for a successful experience. We will not move the performance to accommodate schedules, so please be sure before registering that you are able to complete the camp as scheduled.
COST:
Early Bird Special: $75 per camper, if registered by July 3. $100 per camper, if registered July 4-10. Full payment is due with registration to reserve spot.
ENROLLMENT:
Admission is on a first-come-first-serve basis. Full payment is due with registration to reserve spot. An email will be sent to confirm payment received.
If the minimum number of campers to hold the session is not met we will notify the parent/guardian by July 10, 2026.
PARENT/GUARDIAN/SIBLING ATTENDANCE:
Parents/Guardians will NOT be allowed where campers are learning and rehearsing. If a parent/guardian desires to stay on site, there is a room where they may stay, but there is not to be interaction with the students during rehearsals. The only children in attendance should be paid campers. The public performance on the last day of camp is open to everyone.
DROP OFF/PICK UP: Campers should be dropped off no more than 10 minutes before the camp time of 1 p.m. Campers will need to sign in each day. Camp will be released at 4 PM each day and parents/guardians should promptly pick them up inside the building. Campers will not be dismissed on Friday/Performance Day. They will stay until the 5 p.m., performance.
MAKE-UP POLICY:
There are no make-up sessions offered.
REFUND POLICY:
There are no refunds.
WHAT TO BRING:
Students should bring water (in a container with a lid) with them if they would like. Please no sodas, fruit drinks, etc., or food. No gum. A snack and additional water will be provided.
