Fall Session begins September 8
The choir meets for 10 sessions over a 15-week period, culminating in community performances as opportunities are scheduled. Cost is $110 per student.
The West Kentucky Youth Choir, directed by Michelle Crider, gives students in grades 3–8 the opportunity to develop their musical abilities while experiencing the joy and discipline of singing as an ensemble.
Sponsored by the Community Arts Foundation, the choir welcomes students of all experience levels. Through rehearsals and performances, students build confidence, musical independence, and teamwork while developing skills they can carry into future musical experiences.

Our Director
Michelle Crider
A Henderson, Kentucky native, she holds a Master’s in Vocal Performance from the University of Kentucky and a Bachelor’s in Music Education from Murray State University. She has taught voice at Transylvania University, the New World School of the Arts, Crittenden County Elementary School, and privately at Crider Performing Arts Studio in Marion. She also serves as musical director for the Community Arts Foundation’s spring musical productions and is excited to lead the West Kentucky Youth Choir.
